Just single bird seen at the Lokkawi beach, try to get closer but the bird is too active.Hopefully there will be more waders by next month

Pacific Swallow
My picture of the day taken before the storm and heavy rain today.Gone to Lokkawi beach mostly same kind of waders and very cloudy, i decided to head back but stopover near Ketiau Village. Swallow flying all over the place try to feed some of the insect disturb by the early rain. one of them perch at the stump near the fence.

Rufous night-Heron ( Immature )
Just scan around KKwetland for the migrate bird but still on hightide, on the way out from the broadwalk stumble this immature Rufous night-Heron. Took a couple of shoot of the bird before the bird flew away.

Rufous-collared Kingfisher - Actenoides concretus
This is one of the uncommon kingfisher around borneo, try to get pair picture of this bird but rarely got it.

Another endemic bird of borneo which found on the montane area.Kinabalu Park is the best area but
you need a bit of luck for this bird.
WHITEHEAD'S BROADBILL - Calyptomena Whiteheadi
Very elusive electricgreen broadbill. Found mostly mountain of Borneo montane area but this bird can be found
around poring hots spring on the eastern part of Kinabalu park which about 500m ASL as well, specially during the fruiting season.

PYGMY IBON
This is one of the toughest bird to look for in Borneo but sometimes its overlooked while on the field.
JAMBU FRUIT DOVE-Ptilinopus jambu
Now i have completed my picture of this bird male and female. The female is not very sharp and clear but to get this bird are extreamly difficult. Need to spend a lot time and effort as well as luck. This male picture taken 2 years ago at Poring Hots spring and the fenale is this year also at poring but different location.
