Very common visitor to Sabah specially on the west coast. Normally the bird will occupy the same area once its settled.
Breeds in central Russia to NE Asia.

Common along the stream or rivers throughout sabah.

Scarce montane endemic. Uncommon from kinabalu south to kayan mentarang in kalimantan.
So far this is the best picture i've taken.

Common resident throughout Borneo but to get a good picture of this bird is very difficult specially digiscoping
