Blue-tailed Bee-Eater - Merops philippinus
Uncommon and a scarce vagrant to North Borneo or Sabah. This is the first ever photograph of this bird in Sabah.
Setup: Kowa Telescope TSN-883+ 20-60 zoom eyepiece with Nikon Coolpix P300
Buff-banded Rail - Gallirallus philippensis 30cm
Rapidly expanding population from Tempasuk Kota Belud to Kota Kinabalu. Now getting common to see them around any of the paddy field around kota Kinabalu.

Blue-naped Parrot - Tanygnathus lucionensis
Common bird around Tg.Aru Beach or better known as the Prince Phillip park. Use to be common around Pulau Mantanai off Kota Belud but i did not see the bird on our recce 2 years ago
